 
Trimble snags victory at Calhan

CALHAN, Colo. — Adam Trimble had been close to knocking down the door all season long in Colorado Region races. On Saturday night, the Pueblo, Colo., driver broke it down with a United Rebel Sprint Series non-wing victory at El Paso County Speedway in Calhan, Colo.

Trimble started outside the third row and worked his way to the front to claim the win, his first of the 2011 season.

Trimble was third early this season at the first non-wing show in Calhan. He finished second at the first race there this year, then was fourth in the third race on the 1/4-mile dirt track.

Heat race winners were Reed Bernbeck and Trimble.

Trimble picked up the Keizer Aluminum Racing Wheels Hard Charger Award, going from sixth to first.
